Progress Report #1--Last Words From The Publisher
by Neil Kaden

hope you found this, our first regular LoneStarCon 2 Progress Report, both informative and entertaining. It couldn't have happened without the hard work of the Publications Division staff, the ConCom members who contributed, and the artists who not only submitted artwork, but also many of the ads. (Rule of Fanac #114: Always give recognition to your fanartists.)
Future Progress Reports will feature more of the LoneStarCon 2 bid-winning chili recipies, articles about Texas Fan History, and more classic reprints from Texas fanzines. As well as more about what you will experience in 1997, PR#2 will include the first in a series of bios on our guests of honor.
You may have noticed that this PR's front cover is by Texas' own Brad Foster. Look for future PR covers which have been designed to add to your LoneStarCon 2 experience - be sure to keep the entire set of 6. And don't forget to turn this issue over to note the ever topical back cover from PR#1's feature writer, Teddy Harvia. Future Progress Reports will feature articles from a series of infamous Texians fanzine personalities.
PR#2 will be out in August - which means that all art and articles are due to LoneStarCon 2 by May 15, 1995.
